Portugal in Pattern

I spent two years living in hot and sunny Lisbon, Portugal. I felt heavily inspired by the amount of pattern, textiles and tiling within the city and wanted to explore this within my work. I de-constructed some some of my favourite places within the city and created animated, zoetrope prints to be used as silk scarves. Still need to get these made but here are the designs.
